Paul Read

Sussex Aesthetics was founded by Paul Read in 2016. Paul is a registered nurse with over 20 years experience in the medical sector including NHS and private care. Paul has always had an interest in aesthetic practice and trained in Harley street under the guidance of Dr Kate Goldie, director of Medics Direct (Europe Ltd). Paul latterly diversified the clinic offering and has reintroduced a minor surgery clinic and a wellbeing and minor illness clinic.

Sussex Aesthetics mission is to provide professional medical, evidence based and results driven aesthetic and corrective treatments to clients wishing to remain youthful and radiant.

Karen Maginnis

Karen is a registered nurse, having completed her training in 2010.  Karen trained here at the Sussex Aesthetics Academy, under the expert guidance of Paul, our Clinical Director. This ensures she understands the clinic ethos, of putting our clients first. Karen is passionate about delivering aesthetics treatments which create subtle results, to enhance the natural beauty of clients.

Layna Bunyan - LMB Bloods -Resident Phlebotomist

Layna joined the team in 2023. A trained phlebotomist of 15 years with a speciality in paediatrics. Recognising her passion for supporting individuals taking ownership of their own health and wellbeing, this sat perfectly with the ethos of Sussex Aesthetics. Layna works in partnership with a number of national laboratories for individuals who are already under private care. Recently we have been able to extend this as Paul as prescribing practitioners are now able to make the process even easier and request the tests on your behalf.
